| Hi Mike,
Thanks for your input on the STM FM. I can answer some of your questions
but I'll defer to someone more familiar with the registration and domain FMs
to answer the rest.

We eventually want to modifiy the LAN autotopology to map stations on
ethernet segments (won't be in V1.2 though). That is why domains
were used here instead of some other graphical representation. Currently,
you can map the FDDI ring domains on the map using the FDDI FM.

In general I agree. We have a large network also and I have these problems too.
The problem is that these maps are so large that there is no way to fit it
on one screen. What is really needed is the ability to save maps in postscript.
There is a tool available internally that does this. The ability to scale
maps would also be helpful.

I don't know if there is anyway to deregister all of the devices in a
domain with one command. I'll defer this one. However, if you
run the STM FM with the autoregister argument set to FALSE, then
you won't need to do this. You will still get the autoregistration
commmand file and the map file, but the autoregistration command file
will not be run.
The comand you want to use is:
mcc>automap mcc 0 stm_fm autoregister=false, in domain=<domain_id>

Yes. You need to modify the command file, then run it yourself
to register all of the bridges. Then the next time you run the STM FM
it will use the registered names you selected.
