I've done some searching through the notes files and can't find anyone that has done any work trying to redirect OPCOM messages on a VMS system, to the COLLECTOR. Has anyone thought about this or actually attempted to redirect OPCOM messages. The obvious, but ugly way is to search the opcom log for key words, but this isn't very pretty. Shouldn't it be a fairly simply task to redirect a certain class of OPCOM events such as security so as to allow them to be sent to a collector? Any comments appreciated. Al

I alson am looking for a way to do this, I will be using it as a
prototype and this is the fastest way to allow for real application
specific alarms.
