3134.0. "NODE statistics (utilization percent = 0)" by ANNECY::BONNIER (Jean-Luc ... EIC/T&N Annecy France) Fri Jun 05 1992 06:39
I am running VMS 5.5 and DECmcc BMS T1.2.7.
I have a question related to DECnet/OSI entities and Perf. Analyzer FM.
When doing
MCC> show node aeo528 csmacd station csmacd-1 all statistics
I don't understand why the 'inbound/outbound utilization' is 0 Percent.
Node DSP_NS:.aeo528 CSMACD Station csmacd-1
AT 5-JUN-1992 11:30:35 Statistics
Examination of attributes shows:
Duration = 59 Seconds
Outbound Utilization = 0 Percent
Inbound Utilization = 0 Percent
Average Outbound PDU Size = 94.17 Octets
Average Inbound PDU Size = 85.07 Octets
Outbound PDU Rate = 0.1 pdus/sec
Inbound PDU Rate = 0.46 pdus/sec
Outbound Multicast PDUs = 0 Percent
Outbound Multicast PDUs = 0 Percent
Inbound Multicast PDUs = 77.78 Percent
CSMACD Contention with no Collisions = 0 Percent
CSMACD Contention with Collisions = 0 Percent
CSMACD Contention with One Collision = 0 Percent
CSMACD Contention with Multiple Collisions = 0 Percent
Count of Inbound Octets = 565
Count of Outbound Octets = 2297
Count of Outbound PDUs = 6
Count of Inbound PDUs = 27
Inbound PDUs Lost due to Errors = 0 Percent
Outbound PDUs terminated due to Errors = 0 Percent
Count of PDUs Lost due to Data Overruns = 0
Count of PDUs Discarded No Station Buffers = 0
Count of PDUs Discarded No User Buffers = 0
Count of Collision Detect Check Failures = 0
Count of Carrier Check Failures = 0
Count of PDUs Too Long = 0
Count of Excessive Collisions = 0
Count of Late Collisions = 0
Count of Station Failures = 0
Error Percent = 0
The PA manual explains the formulae for these percent values.
Are they really calculated ?
Thanks for your help.
