	In NOtes 3.152 , Tankut placed a kit for an Airco_am .

	It's clear now for everybody that Netherland is famous for 2 things :
	It's Tulips , and it's Mcc Expertise !

	For all of you who are doiing customers demonstrations on DECmcc VMS ,
	I strongly recommend that you install this very nice AM and demo it .

	Let me give you some hints :

	Once you double click on the computer room ,you'ss see all the sensors.
	Pull down Edit function  and select all the Class Airco . You'll have 
	all your sensor selected at once .

		Then pull down the customize and select Management in order to 
	use TABULAR output .  Once this is done , ask for a show of the 
	Room Status , and you'll see a tabular output with all your temperature
	at a glance for each sensor ! Now just restart this mgt window , and 
	you'll see that the temperature change !! Note also that for sensor 
	located close to the climatisation the temperature is lower than the 
	other one ....

		Again , congratulation to Netherlands Team (Antony Vonsee ,
	Tankut etc ...) for this great job !!

	Hello Henk, If you have mcc_common on an other disk than sys$help, during installation the following message apeares: %RENAME-E-NOTRENAMED, DKA200:[MCC]MCC_CHARACTER_CELL_HELP.HLB;12 not renamed -RENAME-E-NOTSAMEDEV, Cannot RENAME to a different device I have copyed the .hlb files mainly after installation to sys$help. The second is, if you have a MCCprocess running (for example MCC_EVC_SINK) that uses the dictionary file, installation not runs o.k. But that's with other Am's, too. Regards Roland

	Some more info on the installation: I encountered the same problem. .2 solves the problem if you startup all the AIRCO procedures in SYS$STARTUP. I suggest modifying the KITINSTAL.COM to COPY and then DELETE as opposed to RENAME. ============ QUESTION: The AIRCO AM DEMO is quite nice. Can you tell me more about the sensors that are connected to the terminal servers? How much are they? How much are you charging for the AIRCO AM? What else is involved in setting up the sensors besides editting a few parameter files? Thanks, Dan

	Hi, Thanks for your responses. Ok, I'll change the kitinstal.com. In Utrecht we have two different type of AIRCO's. - WRIGHT airco : all the airconditioner sensors are connected to a BB recorder. The BB recorder is connected to a Terminal Server port. This terminal server port gives information about all the sensors. - STULZ airco : each sensor is connected to a Terminal Server port. So each terminal server port gives information about one of the sensors. The price of the AIRCO AM is 2k$. But this is for one of the above described situations, if you have another situation, or something else has to be changed then the price will be more. 	Henk, This latest KITINSTAL.COM bombs out when trying to delete the MCC_CHARACTER_CELL_HELP.HLB and MCC_DECWINDOWS_HELP.HLB files since it does not specify a version number. After working around that, I get a message "No bitmaps found for AIRCO" on startup of IMPM and a question mark in all of the icons. Is this normal ? Can the sensors be registered in other domains or is there a need to keep the UTO domain ? Regards - Francis.

	Hi Francis, Thanks for your reply. Sorry that I made that mistake in the kitinstal.com. It is fixed now and I tested it too. And it works fine for me now. About using another domain name: Yes it is possible, you have to do the following after the installation: - do a copy domain. - look into the new domain. - do a save map of the new domain. - copy MCC_AIRCO_BACKDROP_MAP.DAT to the new_domain_map_file.
