I am running VMS 5.5 and DECmcc T1.2.7. I have some trouble with the EXPORTER FM. and I am really wondering whether it's possible to run CONCURRENT exporter batch jobs on the SAME entity. When doing that, I have the message : "Background exporting process is not set up" after the Export command. Do we have to respect a certain amount of time between the SUBMIT EXPORTER_BACKGROUND and the Export command ? Thanks for your help. Jean-Luc

Yes, you can run several exporter background processes and export the same entity into different data base files. In T1.2.7 there were several bugs which can give this error. If the background process is alive it's enough to repeat the command. All this problems are fixed in 1.2.21. SAm Shmuylovich |
