Hi all,
While looking at the SNMP AM files, I found two interesting
MIBs: APPLETALK_MIBDEF.TXT and MICROSOFT_LNMGR_MIBDEF.TXT.
What is required on the Macintosh and PCs in order to be
able to use these MIBs and what sort of functionality would
we get from it ? I've been unable to find answers to these
questions so far but it would help me a lot in a complicated
bid for a DECmcc system.

These MIBS represent prototypes that we have encountered
over the last year. The prototypes had SNMP agents that
corresponded to the MIBS. You would have to contact
Apple and/or MicroSoft on how to acquire the agent
software and install it on the appropriate Macs and PCs.

Before going through the time consuming process of trying to
find the appropriate persons at Apple and Microsoft, does anybody
know what sort of management can be done through these MIBs ?
