Hello, A curious customer ask if our ULTRIX MIR structure is "C-ISAM" for compatibility ? Is it or is not it ?

No it isn't since at the moment C-ISAM is only available from a third
party and we didn't want to depend on this.
However, this is only a short-term position. I notice that there is
X-Open (XPG3) standards activity in this area (standard API for ISAM
access) and we would definitely consider switching the MIR underpinings
over to such an API if we can depend on the base system supplying it
in a predictable way (as does RMS on VMS).
