The new DEcmcc kit defines new environment variables: MCC_CIRCUIT_AM_STACK=64 MCC_COLLECTION_AM_STACK=48 MCC_DNA4_AM_STACK=64 MCC_DNA5_AM_STACK=64 MCC_DOMAIN_FM_STACK=70 MCC_ENET_AM_STACK=64 MCC_EXAMPLE_FM_STACK=64 MCC_EXPORTER_FM_STACK=64 MCC_HISTORIAN_FM_STACK=64 MCC_NOTIFICATION_FM_STACK=60 MCC_PA_FM_STACK=24 MCC_REGISTRATION_FM_STACK=70 MCC_SAMPLE_AM_STACK=64 MCC_TCPIP_AM_STACK=100 MCC_YOURMM_STACK=64 Where are they documented ? 3016.1 | Not documented | TOOK::MINTZ | Erik Mintz, DECmcc Development, dtn 226-5033 | Mon May 18 1992 11:46 | 4 |
They are not documented, and are not intended for use by users. They are used to control the thread stack sizes of some modules.
3016.2 | This is customer's curiosity | TAEC::WEBER | Mon May 18 1992 12:30 | 10
Thanks for your quick answer Erik, however, I would like to do the following remark. The user inherits from these environment variables whenever the /usr/mcc/mcc_system/mcc_login.csh is executed, which my customer does, exactly the way it is documented in the Ultrix Installation guide (the execution of the .csh file is done in the .login). So my customer sees new variables and asks questions about them. |
