    I'm having problems creating a CHANGE OF rule when using
    wildcarding.
    
    Is a rule like CHANGE_OF (SNMP * interface * ifOperStatus, *, *)
    acceptable?
    
    I'm using 1.2.7 on Ultrix.

Sorry, that is not supported in this release.  From the release notes:

        4.9.3  Restrictions

        Restrictions and known problems for the DECmcc Alarms FM are as
        follows:

        1.  The Change-of rule expression does not support either global or
            child entity wildcards.

        2.  An alarm rule containing a global wildcard and a statistical
            attribute is not allowed.

    Thanks Eric,
    	I guess I should do more than speed read the release notes.
    
    Will wildcarding work with CHANGE_OF for the final cut of 1.2?

No, change of for global wildcarding required too many changes
to the code, so it will not be possible for the V1.2 product.
It is high on the priority list for post V1.2 alarms.

    Hi,
    
    I have the same need of CHANGE_OF + wildcarding from one of our most
    important customer (PSA Peugeot Citro�n) who effectively would find
    very interesting that option in his industrialization phase. I note
    that this feature will implemented in post V1.2 Alarm FM.
