2983.0. "Cannot register PhaseV nodes" by RDGENG::PRATT () Tue May 12 1992 14:39
Running Ultrix T1.2.7 DNU T5.1-5
When trying to register phaseV routers (either DECnis's or WANrouters) I get the
following failure...
# manage
DECmcc (T1.2.7)
MCC> register node .reo.reotn1 synonym reotn1
Node LOCAL_NS:.reo.reotn1

Partial registration success. Please retry later to complete the registration.

As you can see, I can access the router from NCL without any problems. It
doesn't apply to all my phaseV routers as I have been able to register some
successfully, but once in this state I have never been able to properly register
the node in question. I also had this problem with T1.2.4.
I can register the same nodes successfully using the VMS MCC.
Any ideas?
