Problem with multiple alarm notification on iconic map.

MCC V1.1

CONFIGURATION 

A routing node(RNODE) has two alarms enabled for each node(NODEn) in the 
network, one to pickup ADJ DOWN and the other ADJ UP.
These alarms when fired send a test to the NODEn and checks $status. 
Based on the status it will enable either NODEn_UP or NODEn_DOWN alarm
for NODEn.
ADJ DOWN and ADJ UP alarms are warning alarms .
NODEn_DOWN is major alarm.
NODEn_UP is critical alarm.

PROBLEM: 

When an adjacency down followered by an adjacency up events occurred,
The iconic map on RNODE shows both alarms ADJ DOWN and ADJ UP fired for NODEn.
However, for NODEn, it only shows alarm NODEn_UP fired .Alarm NODEn_DOWN's
icon remained unchanged (in colour). Log file showed both alarms for NODEn had 
fired. 
If the NODEn_UP alarm was cleared, and exit to a higher level domain then 
come back to the domain then can see NODEn_DOWN alarm icon changed colour
indicating that it had fired.

Question: 

Has anyone seen this bahaviour where 2 different alarms were fired but only
one alarm icon changes colour, the other doesn't change colour until the 
first is cleared ?

Any comments ?
