| Hi Dan,
By any chance is your system a 2 port system? If so,
try the via port option.

2890.2 | Single port only, but a question on FDDI Controller | CUJO::HILL | Dan Hill-Net.Mgt.-Customer Resident | Fri May 01 1992 01:17 | 11 |
| Vin,
My VAXstation is only a single port system, but I'll give it a try
just in case.
Your comment has inspired another question. Can I specify the
"VIA PORT xxx" qualifier to use the FDDI controller of a VAX 6xxx or
a DECstation 5000 in order to gather network data ???
Thanks,
Dan

Yes, you can specify anything. It may not work though. There's a good
chance fddi controller ports may work. Please try it and let me know!
regarding your problem with slow access. I'm doing some testing right now.
