| I've take the attitude that bright colors cause headaches.
My workstations colors tend to be rather dull, or so some say, but I can work
at the screen all day and not go home in pain.
I use a dark to chocolate brown background with a cream foreground. The active
border is cream with the inactive border being a dark tan.
This makes for a rather difficult color choice in applications such as DECmcc.
I have yet to find a good combination that achieves the same objective of
being informative yet easy on the eyes.
For DECmcc I am currently using Dim Grey for the MCC window backgroun and
Dark Slate Blue for the foreground.
For demo systems, I tend to use the default workstation colors.
Hope this helps,
Al

| I vote for colors that are easy to change.
I find that if I periodically change the colors/background/window positions/etc
of my work environment, that it always seems "new". Being able to change the
colors I deal with within an application (DECmcc) is a real plus. I realize that
this is a very subjective opinion, but isn't that what opinions are for?
Anyway, I would still vote for colors that are easy to change, as various
operators have different needs (limited color blideness...) and/or desires.

Glen R.
