I've the following problem to export historical data with BMS 1.2.7,
VAX/VMS 5.4, MIR :
> export node4 bnax01 begin time 27-apr-1992, end time 12:00:00, in
> domain cese

The requested operation cannot be completed
MCC Routine Error = %MCC-F-EXPNOCHILD, Exporter:
no response from child within time limit,

After reading some notes I've also tried to delete the old .RBD files,
with no success.
Can anyone help me ?

| Whitout understanding what is happened, the problem now seems solved.
I suppose the problem is related to the .RDB file : I've tried to create
a new .RDB file, to cancel any recording and exporting request and to
create new related batch queue. At this time I had problems with the
exporter background process (see note 2896.*). Just two minutes ago I
tried to use the old .RDB file (BMS 2.1.4), and now all seems to work :
background process and export current and historical data !
Sure I'm happy but I'd like to understand why !

P.S. My compliments for new notification features (logging, startup,
customization), they are very good and useful !
