I have to reply to an RFP and the customer is very interested
in network management and he is looking into DECmcc.
He also insist on having CMIP protocol
Q1) Is Standard CMIP finalized and if it is, at what date was it finilized?
Q2) Do we have CMIP AM that we can sell to the customer?
Q3) Do we have a due date for CMIP on DECmcc...?
Q4) Do we know some Hub vendors that have CMIP agent?
Another aspect he wants to know about is the graphic on window. He knows
that the presentation of private network management is very flashy
we can see the hub and his card and the led on the card and .....
Q5) Do we have some join venture with hub vendors like Chipcom, Cabletron,
XYPLEX, SynOptics to implement those kind of presentations?
Q6) who are our competitor in this arena of network management for
multi-vendor environment?
