	Hello,


	I worked on the VMS DECmcc T1.2.4 SNMP autodiscovery
	but launcing MCC_TCPIP_LOAD_SNMP.COM.

	It scans UCX hosts files, extracts the hostname and
	prepares a text file in which they write
	register SNMP hostname like this .

Register SNMP ALEXAS
...
Register SNMP aloa
...
Register SNMP 192.6      VBOHUB    <---
...
Register SNMP vbohub.vbo.dec.com
...
	1) Why does it not add the SNMP internet address ?

	2) What if the host discovered is not SNMP ?
	   do I have to come back to my file and delete
	   the entries for non SNMP hosts ?


	3) Why is the line indicated with an arrow different from the others ?

	The DCL command file MCC_TCPIP_LOAD_SNMP.COM is obsolete for 1.2.
	The registration commands produced by this procedure will work
	only with V1.1 software.

	The functionality that you are looking for is now provided by the
	autoconfig MM.

    	autoconfig MM.

There is no "SNMP V1.2 kit".  Both SNMP and autoconfig are included
in the BMS kit.  Autoconfig is not included in the director kit,
but can be added as an extra.
