Hi,


I have a customer who has BMS V1.1 running and he has just added the MIB 
extensions for SYNTRON IC-25 bridge (ie snmp access module). All show commands
work however, if he tries to SET MAXAGE, SET HELLO or SET SWD (software download?)
he gets the following error message :

internal logic error 26. Does anyone have any ideas.

	Bipin,
		"Internal logic error 26" exception is returned by the SNMP
	AM when a "readOnly" error status is returned by the agent. Obviously
	the agent thinks that the variables you are trying to do sets on 
	are read-only mib variables, although the asn.1 mib description
	defines them as having read-write access. This looks like a bug in the 
	agent, although an error message like the above does not make too 
	much sense to the user. We are looking into fixing the error message 
	as part of a fix to another problem (see note 2650.5).

Thanks for the speedy reply, will this internal error message problem be fixed
for just BMS 1.2 or for 1.1 as well ?.

	     The error message will be fixed for V1.2 only. The problem is not
	severe enough to warrant issuing a patch for the V1.1 kit.
