2656.0. "MCC & VCS sharing screen real estate" by DENVER::THURY (Rocky Mountain High) Mon Mar 30 1992 20:16
I'm working with a customer trying to integerate MCC (v1.1) and VCS on a
VAX 4000-200. We have been generally successful, by disabling VCS from
starting its C3 module at system boot, and adding it as an autostart
application, along with MCC, to specific users on the workstation.
My question/problem is the placement of MCC's window. Is there anyway
I can specify the location and size of an MCC window at startup? Both
on the local screen and on remote workstations? (I have no MCC experience;
I'm only trying to make MCC and VCS equitably share screen real estate!!)
I know how to tell VCS where to position its main window, but can't
find a way to communcate my needs to MCC!!
I have seen some DECwindows applications, where I can specify window
positon and size at application startup. Is this possible with MCC?
Thanks for any help,
Denny

| You do it in the Customize Map window.
Select "use this window's possition" after positioning the window
where you want it of course. Save the settings and it should work.
