I'd like to know if is possible or being concidered as an option to do one or all of the following: 1) Run notifications services only using iconic PM? 2) Redirect the Notification services using iconic PM to another display device. Bottom line is that with all of the business possible of windows, it would be nice to display the notifications only rather than running a full mcc session. Al

> >1) Run notifications services only using iconic PM? > I am not sure what you are asking here. The notification services application can only be invoked from the iconic map "Applications" menu. The iconic map and notification services are tightly coupled (it is actually part of the iconic map). At this time you can't run the notification services pm seperately. It must invoked from the iconic map. > >2) Redirect the Notification services using iconic PM to another > display device. The iconic map and notification services pm are linked together, hence are using the same display. It is not possible to have the iconic map windows go to one display server and notification services to another. | |||||

You gave me what I was looking for so I would say you understood what I was asking. Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, what the customer would like to see was what I suggested.... i.e. display just the notification window and/or subsequent related windows on a different display device. Is this something that is planned or at least being concidered for a future verion? Al |
