    No one really understands what products and projects are underway in
    network, system, et.al. management. To help us understand better the scope
    and scale of the effort underway inside and outside DEC around EMA we would
    very much appreciate everyone who is writing any EMA or standards based
    entity, director, managed object, managing system, MOM, AM, FM, or PM to
    fill out the attached simple form, and mail the result to Steve Lane at
    DELNI::S_LANE.

    What we hope to do is collect a "portfolio" of managed objects and
    management applications that DEC has available. This portfolio will help us
    greatly in planning what things NSM should work on (and what we should
    not).
