2433.0. "'Serviced cancel request calls' error message?" by TOOK::FONSECA (I heard it through the Grapevine...) Wed Feb 26 1992 18:14
I was using the IMPM today and kept getting the following
error message whilst doing shows:
Serviced cancel request calls
I first noticed this when I was selecting more than one entity using the
<shift>-select method. The operation would work for the first entity,
fail for the second, work for the third, etc. If I did not acknowlege
the message on the second time it was displayed, the IMPM would not react
to further mouse clicks, until I cleared the error.
The message is not documented, and really doesn't look like it is good
grammar, but maybe I just don't understand what it means.

| the error
Service cancel request calls
means that someone somewhere did the equivalent of control C. Note
that the lower level module you are calling could be doing this if it
realizes that it can not handle the request passed down. As to why you
are getting it, we would need alot more information as to what was
selected and what type of request you were trying.
