2399.0. "context smartness for the SHOW command" by NYFDIN::SAMBAMURTY (Raja) Mon Feb 24 1992 10:58
When I set the operation time to a certain value (say like 20 seconds)
and do a SHOW STATISTICS on a node4.circuit, it works fine. Now without
resetting the time values, when I do a SHOW STATUS or CHAR, I get a
message back "Requested data not available for specified time". Now, I
know the time parameter doesn't make sense for either STATUS or CHAR
(in fact I see this translating this into a NCP TELL blah command), and
I am surprised that SHOW command is not doing the context smart thing
of ignoring this value in this case, instead of my having to go and
change the time value to zero. Is this the intended behaviour and can
this possibly be changed ? thanks

I am a bit confused, could you list the commands that you attempted
executing?
thanks
