In DECmcc/ULTRIX BMS V1.2 release notes 3.121, is there any phase V AM use guide available? I can only find Phase 4 use guide. In BMS 1.2, is there any X.25 AM (phase IV and V) available. Also I was told it may be supported in the phase V AM? Thanks for help! Sam

Sam, there definitely is a use guide for DNA5 AM. I suggest you contact Steve Jong, the writing technical lead for MCC for a copy. There is no x.25 AM for DNA4 and DNA5. The DNA5 AM supports all of the 5 architected x.25 modules. They are all children of Node. The DNA4 AM does not yet support the X.25 module objects of DNA4, but it does support x25 Data Link Mapping. If DNA4 support of X.25 module objects is necessary, then it could be added if someone is willing to fund the development effort. wally |
