Hi, My customer encounters the following problem when he uses the logical name SYS$LANGUAGE for some VMS utilities: $define/job sys$language french $ mana/ent test mcc 0 DECmcc (V1.1.0) MCC 0 %MCC-E-INVALIDTIME, invalid time specified %MCC-F-TRM_FAILURE, PM unable to continue and $ deass/job sys$language $ mana/ent test mcc 0 MCC 0 AT 18-FEB-1992 15:53:23 Test Successful I try this sequence of commands on DECmcc 1.2.4 (EFT) and I have the same problem. I am glad this has been qared, but you should know it is most likely not to be fixed in the short term. The MCC components only know of one format for time and that is what is passed around. The PMs then use the system time routines for decoding (making the internal format into a string) it. When you define the logical the system expects a specific format that is no long in sync with what we are passing it. As to the fatal error I will look into NOT doing that. jill |
