| I tried using the RESPONDING ADDRESS in V1.1, but got a message
indicating that the variable type was not supported. This would
actually be a very good way to check if the controller responded.
Syntax would be something like this:
EXPRESSION = (STATION .as400 RESPONDING ADDRESS <> 08-00-xx-xx-xx-xx)
This is just a suggestion to point you in the right direction. I have
not tried it.

The id802 datatype is not supported by alarms, but I believe it has
been put on the list for v1.2 --

| Support in Alarms FM for ID802 has been coded and should be tested
shortly (the LAN BU needed this support for FDDI-related Alarms
against Upstream Neighbor Address)...
