I get the follwing:- $ ucx UCX> loop chip1 %UCX-I-LOOPACT, CHIP1 is alive UCX> loop chip2 %UCX-I-LOOPINACT, CHIP2 does not respond -SYSTEM-F-TIMEOUT, device timeout UCX> I have deleted CHIP1 from the UCX host database and only have CHIP2 but still unable to communicate with CHIP2. All entries in HUB are correct Any ideas Regards

You might have better luck in the SMURF::CONNECTION notes conference, since this is not really a DECmcc question. However, it appears that either the address in the UCX database for CHIP2 does not match the actual address of CHIP2 (use SHOW HOST CHIP2 to check), or else there is something wrong with the hub itself so that it is not responding, or something is wrong with the network between you and the hub so that you are not able to reach it. -- Erik | |||||
