Hello,
I have been happly running FT 1.2 until the other day when suddenly I
was not able to update/modify any of my domains with out becomming
privilidged.
I'm stummped as to what the problem might be... If I log into the root
account everything works fine. I have included
source /usr/mcc/mcc_system/mcc_login.csh
in my .cshrc file and setenv looks ok.
I am using the local mir and have set the database files in /var/mcc/*
to be world readable (rather then set up a group access). In any event
this must be ok because things were working before...
a ls -al of /var/mcc/* shows..
apg14.wro.dec.com> ls -al /var/mcc
total 140
drwxrwxrwx 2 root 1024 Dec 30 16:39 .
drwxr-xr-x 14 root 512 Dec 29 15:51 ..
-rw-rw-rwx 1 root 0 Dec 30 16:37 MCC_00.MCC_EXP_ATTR011_PMS.dir
-rw-rw-rwx 1 root 1024 Dec 30 16:37 MCC_00.MCC_EXP_ATTR011_PMS.pag
.
.
.
This should do it right??
Thanks!
Peter

You need to kill any running MMs if you change protections (they
already have the files open and will not see your changes).
But I don't understand why this would all of a sudden happen. Are
you sure you didn't do something like another installation or fiddle
with the protections in some other way?
