Does anybody know what the maximum length of an attribute name is? I looked in the manual and searched in here but couldn't find anything. I have an 49 char length attribute which seems to choke the dictionary routines. The compiler accepts it no problem but when I read the dictionary, I get bizarre behavior from accvios in dict routines to trashing of my data. Thanks.

RE: .0 Could you please provide me with an update on this problem? Are the dictionary routines still "choking"? Are you still getting access violations in the dictionary routines? - Jerry | |||||

Sorry for the late response (I just got back from two weeks in Seattle). I tried a 59 character attribute and it seems to work fine. This is with DECmcc (T1.2.4). So everthing seems to be working ok. I'll post an update if anything goes wrong again. THanks, Gary |
