I'm using DECMCC T1.2.4 on VMS V5.4-3 with Motif. When I open the navigation window, I get a "motif" style window. When I click on the minus sign in the upper left corner, I get the usual menu (move, size, maximize, etc.) and when I click on "close" (to close the navigation window) MCC dies (i.e., all the windows close and the main process hangs - even ^Y doesn't help). I realize the correct way to close the navigation window is to click on the corner a second time, but I didn't expect to be so severely punished for this mistake. It's easily reproduceble here. Has anyone else seen this problem? Sid

It happened to me too; not only with the navigation window but apparently with any MCC window. I assume that 'window close' does something like a stop/id to the process. But then I'm in no way a MOTIF expert. I always try to avoid the 'window close', not only for MCC. Is there a way for the application to intercept this 'close' request? I'm almost sure there is, but I think it can only be done if you build the application against the MOTIF toolkit which in case of MCC is planned for a future release... *Robert | |||||
