Hello, At what version it will be possible to have a distibuted director, or in other words when will the director to director communication be availible. I haven't found anything about this in the V1.2 Features and Functions paper. Thanks Roland

V1.2, like V1.1, provides sharing of registration and reference data between directors, through DECdns. "Full" director to director communication is high on the list of priorities for V2.0 (perhaps even defines V2.0). However, V2.0 is very early in the planning stages, so no details are available yet. -- Erik | |||||

Is there anything new as for this director to director communication (a white paper, a func spec, ...) ? We are especially interested in the implementation of security (how to control the management operations send by a director through another director (use of profiles or management view)).
