I'm about to start a Pilot DECmcc for a customer whos operators will only have access to the iconic map. I have secured the configuration so they can't add to maps or modify them, but via the toolbox they can still add entities into domains these then apeare as non placed entites when the map is next fired up. Is there a way that I can disable the tool box totaly via a user resorce file, or an executabe image I can set a protection on. Any ideas or sugestions welcome. Terry.

2255.1 | How about using DNS protection? | TOOK::MINTZ | Erik Mintz, DECmcc Development | Mon Feb 03 1992 13:45 | 6 |
I don't know of any way to shut off the toolbox. But you should be able to fix the protection on the DNS directories to control access to registration. -- Erik |
