Is there any way to extend the attribute operation reason codes? I want to return attribute is too long, and the method for returning the reason code and having it displayed is really nice. If not, is there a similar way to accomplish the same thing (set up a another enumeration? thanks, Bonnie

Bonnie, I've used MCC_K_REASN_INV_VAL when a supplied value for a string is too long. It displays as Attr = Invalid Value I've often thought a more explicit decription of how the value is invalid would be helpful, so I'll second your request. | |||||

These are defined in the SRM, if you want a new one currently the best thing to do is to try entering a qar (as a suggestion) requesting the new type, or send an ECO proposal for the change to TOOK::WONG. jill |
