This may not be the right notesfile, hopefully someone will point me in the right direction. On the recent NAS & ALPHA DVN a reference was made to BIS, Building Integrated Services. It referenced a Company in France that had integrated it's facilities management into DECMCC. Anyone know of a DEC contact name for this Project. Thanks, --John

hello John, I don't have any information about "the Company in France that had integrated it's facilities management into DECMCC". I can just tell you what we are doing in terms of DECmcc integration, in the scope of Building Integrated Services (BIS). As you read in the "January Europe Sales Update", Building Facility Management includes "Network+Space Management". The DECmcc integration goal is to provide a connection/link between the network management system (DECmcc) and the space management tool. One major functionality of this connection is the localization of a network object on the map of one system, based on a request from the second one. I hope that gives you a better understanding about the BIS's facility management services/DECmcc integration. Jean-Mary, EIC Neuchtel |
