2186.0. "Black on black map" by TAEC::ZANONI () Fri Jan 24 1992 03:32

    Hello,

This problem has already been reported in note 1554 by someone else. If
you have any solution please post it here.

    - Sitting at a DECstation 5000-200 with Ultrix 4.2 and set a remote
      window which is running DECMcc version FT1.2-4.

    - Monitor is B/W

    => The map is displayed black on black (navigation window is black on
       white)

    - Whatever you put in the mcc_resource.dat it make no difference

    Everything is working allright on a color screen and on a B/W VAX-station.

    We have tried to put the following in our resource file but it doesn't
make any difference:

    	.
mcc_pml.map_iconForeground:	black
mcc_pml.map_iconBackground:
mcc_pml.map_lineColor:	black
	.
    	.
    	.
mcc_pml.map_windowBackground:	white
mcc_pml.map_backdropForeground:	white
        .
    	.
    	.

    Christine,

    Thanks for pointing out the problem. It looks like the DECWindow server
    on a DECstation B/W behaves differently from a VAXstation B/W system;
    that's why it worked on a VAXstation B/W, but not DECstation B/W.

    Entered as qar 2230 in MCC_INTERNAL.

2186.2Is it already fixed?UTRTSC::BEEKMANTon Beekman - CS/SSO - The Netherlands.Fri Apr 03 1992 04:0213

	Hi,

	It's been a while ago that this problem has been reported
    	(note 1554,26-SEP-1991)
	I've checked the qar database, but still no answer.
	Can somebody give me a status update.
	Are there already patches available or it it fixed in V1.2?

	Thanks,

	Ton

    Ton,

    As stated in the mail that I sent you, we are investigating the
    problem. It should be fixed before V1.2 SSB.
