I have looked through note 3 and others, but cannot find out what the latest version of MCC. I am running 1.1 with the Terminal server Am and the SNMP AM installed. I would like the latest and greatest of everything (Enterprise management, I guess its called). I have the EMS with all the tools including NMCC. I also have ELMS but have seen the ELM AM. What is the latest kit for VMS and do I have to install the other AM's or do they come with the latest kit? Basically I want EVERY option available. NMCC, ethernim, LTM, ELMS, NMCC, enterprise MCC and all AM's except the Vitalink. Can anyone point me to 1 place where I can get the latest or provide versions and not just say look in note 3? I found it difficult to understand what is the latest and what runs with what. Thanks for any help.

Getting the numbers right... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- <<< Note 2093.1 by TOOK::MINTZ "Erik Mintz, DECmcc Development" >>> -< Some summary information >- Sorry, there is no simple answer to your request. V1.1 is the latest version that has been released to customers. T1.2.4 BMS and Toolkit (external field test) are available for licenced field test sites, and internal users. The V2.2 EMS package has not yet been assembled. The SNMP AM is included in the V1.2 BMS package. The ELM package (which now includes the bridge AM, formerly part of BMS) is in a seperate field test. NMCC/DECnet monitor will not included as part of EMS V2.2, so you would need to copy seperately whatever version is available. Neither will DECelms. Both of these will be allowed to "remain" on your system when EMS V2.2 is installed. -- Erik | |||||

It does depend on your context as to what is latest. Is it for a customer or just internal use? If for internal use, note that there isn't a TSAM for T1.2.4 yet and the one you now have is not for customer use. s/rob |
