B.1 New Features
___________________________
B.1.1 New Qualifier /INIT added to command verb DETMCC
A new qualifier /[NO]INIT have been added to the
command verb DETMCC. The default is /INIT and will
read the MCC_INIT file and execute the commands before
passing control to any user commands. This feature was
added to be able locate any define commands such as
define bye exit.
___________________________
B.1.2 New Internal Command EDIT [file-name]
A new internal command called EDIT has been added.
This command will startup a edit session. If the
edit session is terminated with EXIT the command file
will be read and executed. If the edit session is
terminated with QUIT no action will be taken.
If no file name is given to the EDIT command, the
default file defined by the logical name DetMCC_

B.1.4 Changes made to the site specific EXEC process init
command procedure
The support for the site specific commmand procedure
SYS$LOGIN:DETMCC_INIT.COM used for adding/changing
the context when creating the detached DECmcc process
called $DetMCC_EXEC has been changed.
Instead of having a hardcoded file entry name, a
logical name is used to locate the file. The logical
name used is DetMCC_EXEC_LOCAL_SETUP. This logical
name is defined, as default, to DetMCC_Library:DetMCC_
EXEC_LOCAL_SETUP.COM. A samle procedure is created
during installation and includes the following
commands:
$ set terminal/perm/eight DetMCCInpPSEUDO
$ purge/keep=3 DetMCC_LIBRARY:*.LOG

B.2 Bugs Fixed
___________________________
B.2.1 CTRL/C did not stop execution of a command procedure
If the user pressed CTRL/C while executing a command
procedure the current command was canceled but not the
command procedure. This has been fixed.
___________________________
B.2.2 Use of DEFINE command could give unexpected results
If a user, for example, had in the MCC_INIT file
the command define bye exit and executeded bye, the
command was passed to the server and EXEC process that
exited without control.
DetMCC will now, by default, read the MCC_INIT file
and excute it. In this way all define commands are
recorded with all functions.
___________________________
B.2.3 EXI was not parsed as EXIT
If the user entered a EXI instead of EXIT, the command
was passed to the SERVER that exited the EXEC process
instead of just leaving DetMCC. This has been fixed.

___________________________
B.2.4 The continue mark didn't change the prompt
If the command continue mark ( '-') was used the
prompt didn't change to use a underscore to mark for
the user that he could continue with the command. This
has been fixed.
___________________________
B.2.5 Entering HELP didn't change the DetMCC prompt to the
help prompt
The help command is now handled in DetMCC instead
of DECmcc to avoid the problem with knowing what to
prompt for. The help library that are used is pointed
out with the logical name DetMCC_MCC_HELP_LIBRARY. The
default value is SYS$HELP:MCC_CHARACTER_CELL_HELP.HLB.
___________________________
B.2.6 Problem with I/O sync if USE PROMPT existed in
MCC_INIT
If the user had a USE PROMPT command in the MCC_INIT
file while creating the SERVER and EXEC process the
I/O handling wasn't handled in a correct manner. This
have been fixed.
___________________________
B.2.7 Using CTRL/C could hang the system
In some cases the user didn't get prompted back after
CTRL/C had been entered. This has been fixed.
