2037.0. "Modifying Reference Attributes" by ODIXIE::PEACOCKR () Tue Jan 07 1992 11:29
I'm sure this is a simplistic question, but how do I change reference
attributes for a network entity?
For example - I have NODEA that is on the 3rd floor and belongs to Joe
Smith. Now, that system is being moved to the 2nd floor and belongs to
Sue Jones. I need to change all the fields - mail, phone, etc. - and I
can't seem to find how to do that short of recreating the entity.
In this case, I realize that the system physically moved and I would
probably want to change it on the map, but what if I just wanted to
chage the phone number and responsible person?
I apologize for such a simple question, but I don't have all the
documentation and can't seem to find it in the documentation that I
have.
Thanks,
Rick

| Hi...
From the Iconic Map, select the entity, choose the SET operation and select
REFERENCES.
From FCL, use SET entitytype entity name REFERENCE attribute.

| Thanks,
I looked at that pull down menu, but wasn't sure what SEND meant ( it
appears above the list of choices).
