| I have put off posting this until we had an even more complete
list, but I guess we should make what we have available.
Please understand that there are even more things in V1.2 than
are pointed to here. The list will be updated as we have time.

| Come to Net U in Boston on Feb 3rd, I'll present it and
show/demo V1.2.
We don't have time to elaborate all the items at this time. If
you have a question on one (or two) in particular that we can
give a short answer to, ask it here and we'll do our best. If
it needs a long explanation, we'll turn you over to the user
doc sets.

| John,
The new features list conflicts with statements in the T1.2.4 Toolkit
release notes. For instance, the new features list includes MCC_K_DT_LOCAL_ENTITY
and MCC_K_DT_ENTITY_CLASS, yet section 3.2.1 of the release notes (FCL) still
say "not supported" for those datatypes.
Perhaps kernel support for the datatypes has been added, hence the entry on
the new features list? Even so, if FCL can't handle them, we can hardly use
them and tell our customer "don't use FCL".
Thanks for any clarification you can make.

| Richard,
I had asked Jill Callander, FCL P/L for the list of new
datatypes supported by the FCL and what you see in the new
features list is what she had given me.
I will ask Jill to respond to this note and have her give you
the "facts". I'm assuming that it may be a skewing problem
with either the Toolkit release note being off, or Jill saying
it'll be in V1.2, but isn't in the current FT. No matter, I'll
have Jill clarify.

| The list John has are those that will be in the V1.2 product, and did
not all necessarily make it into the field test kit. The field test kit
does have entity class in there but we recently found a problem with it
on the ultrix kit, which is holding up the release of the attibute and
attribute id datatypes. As to local entity we are still working on it,
but it is expected to make the final product.
