I am selling Proteon MAU's CNX500's and DECmcc into Harvard Business School. Bob Leo of Proteon tells me that DECmcc will be able to manage MAU's through the Proteon proxy agent which is a TSR program on a ring attached PC. * Can anyone tell me when this will be available? * How will it work? * Are there any writeups (pointers to) I can read on it Any info would be much appreciated. see the token ring notesfile. The proxy (1 pc per ring) sends SNMP to the SNMP access module 1.2. It is waiting on MCC 1.2 which should be out soon - May? You also could use the same thing - but display on a pc local screen in the Token view product which available now. You will also need UCX on your VAXstation. |
