Does an ULTRIX version of the "mcc_dns_conversion_12.exe" program exist?
I've got a VMS system running DECmcc V1.1, with the TRANSLAN AM (and
other MMs not yet available under V1.2). If I upgrade, I loose
significant capabilities.
However, I've just installed the ULTRIX version of T1.2 on a DS5000,
and I've set it up to share the DNS respository with the existing VMS
system. However, I need to convert the SNMP objects to the new format,
as per the release notes. Without an ULTRIX version of the conversion
tool, I need a third system, running VMS and the new DECmcc version, to
accomplish the conversion.
Or, how about distributing a version of the program that isn't linked
with any shared libraries? I tried extracting the various images and
libraries from the VMS savesets, but various version mismatches prevent
me from running it on the old V1.1 system.

We are considering to build the Ultrix version of the
mcc_dns_conversion_12.exe for V1.2 SSB kit.
