1998.2 | Thanks... now about the colours. | TAEC::HARPER | John Harper, DTN 830 3647 | Thu Dec 26 1991 12:37 | 13 |
| Good, thanks. That worked.
Next question.
The colours that I get are pretty horrible, but I can live with that.
What I find less agreeable is that when I create lines on the map,
they are the same colour as the background (white). This makes them
hard to see. I can't find any way to change this...?
Even if there is a way (which no doubt there is) I question whether
this is the best default setting!

1998.4 | setenv DISPLAY and use "&", too. | CUJO::HILL | Dan Hill-Net.Mgt.-Customer Resident | Mon Jan 13 1992 12:33 | 8 |
| Try sticking an "&" after the "mcc_iconic_map" command to keep your
window around.
Example:
% setenv DISPLAY feric:0 (feric:0 uses TCPIP, feric::0 uses DECnet)
% mcc_iconic_map &
-dh
