I hope the following is useful to you. Currently my environment is
very basic, in that I only have four entities two are node4 and the other
to are snmp. First the graph problem, I'll select the host entity (DECsystem
5400) and then select the graph function from the iconic map operations
menu. Once this comes up I'll select essential statistics, which I'll pick
in packets, out packets, and total packets from the menu. They all start up
fine and will run as long as I don't attempt to stop anyone of the graphs
or click on the cancel icon at the bottom of the graph screen. Once I stop
one or all of the graphs it will hang everything in DECmcc, and I'll have
to kill the windows and fire up DECmcc to get it working again. This is
repeatable everytime on my system, it looks from what I can tell so far
that vms is not cleaning the process up and thus is hanging DECmcc. I guessing
at this because when I show system I see three process sitting there with
no process names tag to them. Hope this is of help, if you need more information
from me let me know. I will try to get as much info together to help figure
out what the problem is.
>> 2. Second problem I have is when I setup a entity for my station
>> which is running UCX V1.3 as a SNMP entity ( I Known UCX does

This problem is as follows - I select the snmp icon from the toolbox
register my VMS 5.4-3 /UCX V1.3 as a snmp entity, place it in the map
VIA FCL>
REGISTER .WRK4ME SYNONYM = WRK4ME
SNMP WRK4ME
Registration successful
create domain ip_host member .wrk4me
Creation Successful
or iconic map both register fine with no errors, now I'll click on the
icon for wrk4me, and attempt to do a SHOW CHARACTERISTICS, or for that matter
anything against this entity it will crash my system on the spot. I have removed
it currently from my map, but will add it back in to see if it is repeatable.

| Hello,
We encountered a strange behaviour with the graph.
When you have a graph with the scale from 0 to 40.000 and you set on 30.000 a
threshold this works fine.
but,
When there comes a new measurement value in the graph which is above 40.000 then
the graph rescales. eg the scale is now from 0 to 80.000 this is right.
BUT the treshold is now 60.000, so the value of the treshold is changed.
On my opinion the threshold is not set on a value in your graph, but on a
fixed pixel.
THIS IS NOT VERY BEAUTIFUL
