I'm having problems getting the function under the IP Diagnostic FM to function for me, and would like to know what am I doing wrong. First I'll supply the following System: Vaxstation 3100 M38 16mb VMS: V5.4-3 DECmcc: IFT 1.2 I've registered several IP hosts doing; Register .host synonym=host Create domain IP_HOSTS member .hosts Both the register and creation command works fine, I can then bring up the iconic map and the host are there with their internet addresses. Now when I attempt to use the PING function

The TCPIP Diagnostic Assistant is an asynchronous package, that is not yet available for field test. In T1.2.3, the TCPIP DA was inadvertantly included in the dictionary, which is why you see them on a menu. It has been removed for T1.2.4, and will only be added back when the Fault/diag package is installed. | |||||
