I've installed T1.2.3 on VMS 5.4-3. UCX V1.3 Local MIR as namespace. What is the process name for receiving TCPIP events? I've UCX running before MCC startup. Does the TCPIP sink process come up automatically during MCC_STARTUP_BMS? Raj ACT Singapore

The SNMP event sink does not start until a getevent is issued to the
SNMP AM. The sink starts automatically and continues to run until the
last getevent request has been serviced. There is no name for the sink
process.

ok, I've got the TCPIP sink working. There is a noname process that
is executing MCC_TCPIP_SINK.exe on VMS.
On Ultrix, there is a process name.
I think to be consistent the process on VMS should have a name to it
instead of being blank.
