1913.0. "%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, when graphing node" by DUCAT2::FOUR62::LICAUSE (Al Licause (338-5661)) Tue Dec 10 1991 16:27

When trying to run the graph utility for a nodes information, I noticed it
would very quickly fail and list the error in the FileView window as:

%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=00000000,
 PC=201C0000, PSL=00D8A3CC

While another user was trying to fire up T1.2 for the first time, a similar
message occured....I suggested increasing their process quotas to that
recommended in the installation guide, which seemed to fix the problem.

In the case reported here, I started with FILLM of 150 and increased to
300 to allow the graph to remain active for a longer period of time.

I've also noticed that the graphs seem to go inactive very quickly.....
perhaps another quota problem?

I have it too while pressing the - button on the right. Then DECmcc hangs, the
only way out is with CTRL/Y.

Well, when I ask for Counter values to be graphed it already stops after the
first poll and puts a circle in the graph, then the runner icon stops. I went
into the system analyser and no process quota seem to be depleted:

1913.3Fixed for next releaseTOOK::A_MOOREWed Jan 15 1992 16:1815
Thanks for your help in reproducing this problem.

The accvio when Canceling is fixed for next release.

Two other problems that will stop the graph are:

	Selecting an attribute that does not return data for nodes without X.25
		such as Node4 Counters User Bytes Recieved

	Partially Registred entities may not return data.

To handle the problem MB1 on the stickman or to the equivalent show command
to identify the problem.
