I'm having some trouble registering TRANSLAN bridges into DECmcc after
installing the VBAM V1.0.0. Can anyone shed some light on what
incredibly trivial and silly things I'm overlooking ?

Did you create the bactranslation directories on your DNS server? | |||||

I ran the MCC_DNS_BASIC_SETUP.COM procedure only. In searching through
that file, I found the DNS$CONTROL commands for CREATE DIRECTORY
.MCC_BRIDGE_BACKTRANSLATION, etc.
I tried the SHOW TRANSLAN address ALL COUNTERS and
SHOW TRANSLAN address ALL ATTRIBUTES
with success...I received the requested info from the bridge whose
address I specified.
I then ran DNS$CONTROL, and did a
CREATE DIRECTORY .MCC_TRANSLAN_BACKTRANSLATION
I can now register my bridgesand access them by name! Just to be sure,
was this a proper fix for my dim-ness ?
Thanks for the quick replies!
