| I have got now an ASN.1 MIB file from a customer. But i get syntax
errors with MTU.
I dont know ASN.1 syntax - can anyone help ?
Is anybody interested in the ASN.1 File ?

| If have now the LANNET MIB. It seems to define the complete SNMP
MIB tree, and has bugs.
If someone wants to try, you can find it on:
MFRNW1::PUBLIC:LANNET_MIBDEF.TXT

| Hi Karl,
I got another LANNET MIB description from a customer (BSHG Giengen,
Germany). I copied this version to MFRNW1:: (DECnet Default Account)
During Compiling this MIB description, I got a few warnings. I hadn't
the chance to test this MIB description enough. But maybe it can help
you.
Cause we are managing the network at BSHG and they are also using the
LANNET star couplers, any result in testing may be useful for us too.

Cross posted MULTINET (LANNET HUB) questions :
1) The DECmcc MIB translator could not first translate
the LANNET HUB MIB. My customer received a patch of
the MIB translator to have this work, and it did work !
My customer now asks if this patch (making the MIB
translator less flexible) will be part of the SNMP AM
on DECmcc VMS V1.2?
2) My customer then tried to receive traps with DECmcc VMS V1.2
from the MULTINET LANNET HUB but it did not succeed even though
the DECmcc and the MULTINET had the same community and the
MULTINET was configured to send traps to DECmcc.
Can we make it work and how ?
