Hi, all
I searched this conference trying to find some entry
about the following MCC installation problem on ULTRIX
Ver 4.2 (Rev 96) but I didn't find anything. If it has
been dealt with already somewhere else then please advise.
If not then here goes:        
As far as I can see I've set up the system  according to
the instructions in the Install notes - with one exception:-
I don't have a 100MB swapspace.(swap is ca. 65MB).
I receive the following error during the install :
    (which I am running as  "root")
One more thing : anybody got the manual
   "DECmcc Planning and Installation for ULTRIX" which is
mentioned in the release notes ?

When the next kit is available, the dictionary will ship with the kit, so this problem will no longer appear. Meanwhile, can you make enough space in /usr/mcc to place the dictionary in the default location?

	Eric, First of all thanks for the speedy reply. I've tried already to use the default area but the results are the same. But if you are saying that less than 100MB swap isn't worth the effort, then I suppose I'll have to install a secondary space. I had suspected it might be happening because of insufficient disk space - however ,I'll need some time to re-organize my disks and stuff though before I retry the install. Know anything about the manual I mentioned in .0 ? Denis

	RE: .2 Resolved off line If you try to create a dictionary in an alternate location, it will fail. To recover, remove the links /usr/mcc/mcc_system/mcc_fdictionary.{dir,pag} and then reconfigure.
