Note 522.0 "Hidden" TransLAN 350 No replies

Hello,
My customer has the following configuration:
--------+-----+--TL350_A1 >>> 2 meg <<< TL350_B1----+------
| | |
MCC +--TL350_A2 >>> 2 meg <<< TL350_B2----+
The diagram isn't great but its a basic setup with a primary and a
backup link. The root node is TL350_A1 and all TLs are running 10.4.3
(as of last weekend).
The MCC station has the TransLAN access module and can see all
TransLANs except TL350_B2. I can't even register this beast yet when I
use the ETHERNET_STATION access module I can register TL350_B2 as an
ethernet station and it sees it as a TL350, etc.
Any ideas as to what is getting lost? What is the difference
between how the STATION AM communicates and how the TRANSLAN AM
communicates?
I am cross posting this in VITALINK and MCC conferences.
thanks,
Andrew

Hmm,
Perhaps you are all dying to help but need more information.
If I get in to the normal mgmt interface and do a TAP from the root
to the missing node the path is incomplete. It beleives it can get
there but the TAP displays the path over the 2 meg link to the root's
partner then pauses then displays a partial line (i.e. not a path from
the partner over NI to the missing TransLAN) and decides it is success.
thanks,
Andrew

Doug,
I think the rain or hail or sheet or snow at your end, OR the sun
or waves or wine or women or song at my end distracted the postman.
Never received said message.
I'll try some mail to you as well.
regards,
Andrew
