DuPont Germany (Frankfurt area) will participate in the MCC
1.2 field test. It could be a good idea for your customer to
talk to them, at least it's the same company... The European
account manager for them is Haresh Joshi in Geneva.
BAYER (still Germany) is using MCC. You may talk to Uwe
Welzel @COO who is the support specialist for them.
There may be others but those two came to my mind quickly.

DECmcc in Switzerland (Chemical's only)
We've just implemented DECmcc at "SANDOZ" Switzerland. Because we've sold
not only the product DECmcc, we are able to collect valuable information
and hints on how such an implementation should be handled for future
customers. This contract last at least for the next year.
Until now the customer is very happy having DECmcc.
Even at the moment we are also installing DECmcc for "CIBA GEIGY"
located in Basel. Here we only have to give a startup support.
In December 1991 I'm also going to implement a Network Management
Service also using DECmcc at "Hoffmann La Roche" in Basel.

I am implementing DECmcc at SmithKline Beecham Pharmecueticals.
Though not strictly chemical, it may be of interest to you. We
are putting MCC up mainly to begin the alarming of WAN conditions
on a worldwide network (though not as large as DuPont) and monitoring
of strategic clusters, and LAN segments (via bridges). In the
long run, it is hoped that EMA will provide levels of system mangement,
license management, etc.
Additionally, Rohm and Haas has indicated some interest in implementing
MCC at their plant on Bridge St. in Phila. They have not (to the best
of my knowledge) implemented MCC as of yet, however I can obtain
contacts for this account, if desired.

Hi, Smithkline Beecham in the UK have just ordered DECmcc BMS for
management of a fairly large 802.3 WAN via Vitalink Bridges.
Pfizer Research also in the UK have an operation BMS system with
all the a la carte AM's installed. It's pretty impressive and a
good reference site.
Ring me if you want anymore info...

| Hi everybody,
I'm the guy who's supporting Du Pont in their evaluation of DECmcc. It's
running quite fine; one of the guys told me that are very positive about
DECmcc compared to other vendor's solutions. Let's see.
Another german chemical company that is now evaluating DECmcc is Hoechst.
Again, I will support them. No feedbacks yet, we are installing. Joachim Lanzen
@FRS is the account manager.
Give me a call at DTN 861-3107 or write to Joerg Maass @FRS.
See ya
Josch
